Minor League

The minors played the fourth round of the league last Sunday in Ballinagore vs Tubberclaire. Missing a few key players the team battled hard but were unable to convert enough scores to take the spoils. It finished 1-9 to 0-4 in favour of Tubberclaire. Team: Cathal Daly, Alan Kincaid, Michael Heeney, Frankie Deegan, Enda Claffey, Shane Clavin, Brandon Carey, Alan Clarke 0-2, Seán Mullarkey, Paddy Doody, Ciaran Glennon 0-1f, David Keegan, Pauric Kincaid 0-1, David Pidgeon, Johnny Birmingham. Subs Used: Conor Glennon for Brandon Carey (inj.), Ed Birminham for Frankie Deegan (inj.).

 

Lotto

Last weeks winning numbers were 2, 17, 22 and 23. There was no jackpot winner and next weeks jackpot will be €10,460.

 

Table Quiz

Our annual table quiz takes place on Friday April 27th at 9pm in The Bodhrán. Our regular, innovative and highly rated Quiz-masters Seán Delaney and Martina O'Connor have yet another engaging night in store for us. Championship

We play the first round of the championship on Saturday April 21st at 5.15pm in Moate vs Ballymore. The team is bubbling along at the moment and a good result in this game will set the tone for the rest of the championship season. We also expect a strong showing from members and supporters for this vital match.

 

Juvenile Training

Training for Under 8's, 10's and 12's take place every Monday evening at 6pm in Castletown Geoghegan and all are welcome.

 

Condolence

The club expresses its sympathy with the Kane family on the death of PJ's father, Michael Kane, Moone, Co. Kildare, and also with Fr. Seamus Giles on the death of his niece, Orla, in Longwood, Co. Meath last weekend. Ar dheis Dé go raibh siad.
