Ballinagore GAA Notes, 28th August 2011

Club Lotto
This week's winning numbers were 4, 12, 19 and 28. There was no jackpot winner but Pauric Pierce matched three numbers. Next week's jackpot will be €2,140.
 
Senior Challenge
We played Daingean in a challenge match played at Daingean last Saturday evening. After a tough encounter Daingean proved the better side. Team: Mark Doyle, James Keegan, Pat Heduan, John Dalton, Kieran Deegan, Michael Ennis, James Sheerin (Capt.), JJ Hegarty 0-1, Eoin Miller, Pierce Corcoran, Brian Sheerin, Michael Gannon, Cathal Ennis, Tommy Mcdaniel 0-4, Ian Seery 0-1.
 
Relegation Play-Off
We face Moate All Whites in this years play-off which takes place this coming Saturday evening at 6pm in Rosemount. The team needs as much support as possible from the village, so milk your cows, early or late, get mass on Sunday along with the repeat of 'The X Factor' and 'The Premiership', but be in Rosemount at 6pm for this hugely important game.
 
Minor Championship
The minors played the first round of the club championship recently in Ballinagore where they defeated Tubberclaire 1-11 to 1-7. Team: Kieran Glennon, Niall Gunning (Capt.), Dean McDermott, Michael Heeney, David Pidgeon, David Lynch, Enda Claffey, Aonghus Clarke, Shane Clavin, Eoin Quinn, Michael Dever, Seán Mullarkey, Alan Clarke, Niall O'Brien, Cathal Tynan. Subs (All used): Frankie Deegan, Alan Kincaid, Liam Cassidy.

Fixtures
The Minors play Killucan in the championship this Wednesday in Killucan at 7pm. The Under 16's play Caulry next Wednesday at 6.30pm in Ballinagore, and they play Ballynacarrigy on Friday 9th September in Ballynacarrigy at 6.30pm.
 
Farewell Party
There will be a farewell do for Pat, Terri and Fiona Hanrahan in The Bodhrán on Friday 9th September.
 
Condolences
The club expresses its sympathy with the Marshall family, The Village, on the death of Mrs. Annie Fox, Mullingar, and also with the Marshall family Knockmore on the death of Mrs. Julia Maher, Kilbeggan. Ar dheis Dé go raibh siad.
