Scór Final
Well done to Pius Kirby in Recitation, Gerry Claffey, Declan Claffey and Martin Hand in Question Time and Rory O'Brien, Sabrina Jackson, David Holland, Elizabeth Carey, Oliver Reynolds, Sandra Linnane, Shane Heraty and Katrina Leogue in Set Dancing, who did the club and the community proud last Saturday in The Downs. The Question Time team were second while Pius was very close to a winning verdict on the night. Well done and best of luck to all Westmeath acts in the Leinster competition.

Minor League
The minors lost narrowly to Ballynacarrigy in the first round of the league last Sunday. The game was entertaining from start to finish with Ballynacarrigy taking an early lead, before our lads took control of the game up to half time. The second half saw Bal' reduce the deficit and eventually take the lead by one point and that's how it finished. There is great potential in this team and plenty to work on over the next few months. Final Score Ballynacarrigy 1-9, St. Malachy's/Ballinagore 1-8. Team: Cathal Daly, Alan Kincaid, Michael Heeney, Frankie Deegan, David Keegan, Liam Varley, David Pidgeon, Conor Glennon, Shane Clavin 0-2, Alan Clarke, Eoin Quinn 0-2f, Seán Mullarkey 0-2, Johnny Birmingham, Kieran Glennon (Capt.) 1-1 (1f, 1-0 pen), Liam Cassidy 0-1. Subs Used: Paddy Doody, Ed. Birmingham.

Well Wishes
We wish a speedy recovery to club member Niall Gannon, who is recovering from an accident. We hope to see him back in action in the near future.
