Senior Team
We played our fourth match in this years League on Sunday last in Ballinagore. Ballymore were our opponents on a perfect day for football. After a keenly contested fist fifteen minutes where both sides scored three points, Ballymore took control when they were awarded and duly converted a penalty despite the best efforts of the Ballinagore netminder, Mark Doyle. Ballymore led by the goal at half time, 1-6 to 6 points. The second half was more possitive for Ballinagore and they worked their way back into the game eventually drawing level, and subsequently taking the lead with seven minutes remaining. This was the best display of the Senior team this year and it comes at a crucial time with the championship only a week and a half away. Final score, Ballinagore 0-13, Ballymore 1-9. Team: Mark Doyle, Pierce Corcoran, Pat Heduan, James Keegan, Michael Gannon, James Sheerin (Capt.), Brian Sheerin, Stewart Gavin, Eoin Miller, Shane Heraty, Ciarán Carey, Cathal Ennis, Ian Seery, Tomas McDaniel, Paddy Maloney.
