Welcome to the official Website of Ballinagore GAA Ballinagore is a small village located between Kilbeggan and Mullingar. We were relegated from the Intermediate grade in 2004 after a ten year stay, but we bounced back in 2005 to win the County Junior Championship, Junior Cup and most significantly the Leinster Junior Football club championship, becoming the first Westmeath club to win a provincial football championship. In 2007 the club won the Intermediate Championship for the first time and returned to Senior Grade Football for the first time since the mid-1940's. We are currently operating in the Intermediate Grade. 25th Anniversary of our 1986 Treble Winning Junior Champions We recently celebrated the Silver Anniversary of this great team's achievements. There was a great turnout on the night. Click here to see the team photo and read about the night.
The Road to Croker In June we held a unique fundraising event called "The Road to Croker" in Belvedere House and Gardens. This event was the first of it's kind to ever take place in Ireland and we were proudly supported by many local businesses. Take a look at our event website (http://www.theroadtocroker.ie ) for details and our list of sponsors. We ask all our members to support our local sponsors in the same way they generously support us. Follow us on facebook - 'Ballinagore GAA' email - ballinagoregaaclub@gmail.com |
